No. Nowhere. Self-hosted, on KB Cloud Lite and on your own server you can have as many people as you like. You pay for the machine and for what runs on it. The only thing tied to headcount is performance: on the shared machine (Lite) you share it with neighbours and the AI quota is per instance — with many very active people you will notice and move to your own server. But nobody counts heads.

No. It is not a classic VPS. We create the server, install killBottleneck and n8n and secure it; you get one address and one login — n8n opens straight from killBottleneck. No SSH, no terminal.

Five tangible things: the performance is yours (no neighbours), separated data on your own machine with its own backups, n8n included (we don't offer it on the shared machine — automations need their own machine), file attachments up to 5 GB and a higher AI quota. Plus e-mail support. For two or three people without automations you usually don't need it — that is why we recommend Lite as a start.

n8n connects apps: an e-mail arrives → a task appears in the map; a form is filled in → a task with a deadline; on Friday a report goes out. It runs as your own instance on your own server, pre-installed from a template, with ready-made templates for killBottleneck. It is included because n8n Cloud alone costs more than our whole server — and because automation is what makes your own server worth it. You set the automations up yourself following the templates and our videos — the guides are free.

The Hermes agent takes tasks from your map and gets them done: research, notes, reports, drafting replies. Through n8n it also acts in your inbox and spreadsheets. It is the top tier because it includes a stronger machine and n8n. The AI account is yours (OpenAI, Anthropic…) — our AI quota covers only features inside killBottleneck; the agent and n8n think through your key, you pay directly with no markup and you can take the agent with you any time. It does not decide for you, sign or call clients.

No. Self-hosted you get the whole killBottleneck including team collaboration and AI features (AI via your own model in Ollama, free) and templates for your own n8n. Hosting and the agent are convenience for those who don't want to run it themselves.

One turn = one message from you to the assistant and its reply, including everything the assistant reads or writes for it (My day, the map, ideas, proposed steps). A morning briefing with questions and confirmation is roughly 10–15 turns; a short question is 1 turn. The quota renews every Monday; unused turns don't carry over. When they run out, the assistant tells you when they renew and offers a top-up. In the app you see “X turns left until Monday”.
