The simplified view (phone)
Full maps belong on a big screen; your pocket gets lite. It is not a shrunken full version — it is a different product over the same data, defined by what it deliberately lacks (the map, sharing, settings, administration). Three screens, big touch targets, the same account. The choice is remembered — the phone stays in lite, the computer in the full version.
The three screens
| Screen | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Today | Your My day: Overdue → Waiting on you → Today → Tomorrow → Within a week → Not moving → Later → No deadline, with a Done-today counter at the bottom. |
| Assigned | Work handed to others ("handled by jan@…") — follow-ups don't get lost. |
| Inbox | Notifications: assignments, comments, finished automations. |
A fresh account is not greeted by silent emptiness: "Nothing for today. Enjoy it.", "Once you assign something, you'll keep an eye on it here.", "No new messages." Offline, lite says so honestly — "You're offline — you see the last loaded state." — and when the screen overflows it offers the full version: "The overview is shortened — you have more work than fits here."
Around it
- The floating + opens New task — a What needs doing field, an optional due date and a project picker; a goal is created in the chosen project's map, assigned to you. Picking "no project (into the idea stash)" stores it as an idea. Capturing takes two seconds, sorting is desk work.
Switching there and back
Into the simplified view — the phone icon in the top bar (always visible on a narrow display), or the /lite address directly:
Back to the full app — the Switch to the full version button in the footer, with the note "Maps, sharing and settings live in the full version.":
